Shipping
PRO and PRO2 ship free across the USA. Every package is sent signature-required, tracking follows in 2 to 3 business days, and a delivery attempt counts as delivery.
Free shipping on PRO and PRO2
Split Ender PRO and Split Ender PRO2 ship free to anywhere in the USA.
Everything else, and every destination outside the USA, is charged at the rate shown at checkout for your address.
Where shipping was free to you and an order is later returned, refused, or unclaimed, the shipping cost was still paid to send it — so it is deducted from a refund. The sections below say by how much.
Tracking and carriers
Please allow 2 to 3 business days to receive the email with your tracking number. Add info@splitenderpro.com to your contacts so it does not land in spam.
Domestic orders go by USPS Priority Mail. Most international addresses go by DHL Express or FedEx International Economy.
Signature is required, and why
Every package is shipped with a signature requested on delivery, without exception. This is because of the number of packages stolen from front porches.
Track your package and be there when the carrier arrives. You can follow it in the Shop app.
A delivery attempt counts as a delivery
If the carrier arrives and nobody is there, a notice may be left and a message appears on your account. From that point it is your responsibility to contact the carrier — USPS, UPS, FedEx, DHL — and arrange collection or redelivery.
Collecting it in person at the carrier's location is the more reliable of the two. Rescheduling is not accurate when the package was shipped by USPS.
If nobody claims it, the package comes back to our warehouse as UNCLAIMED.
Refused and unclaimed packages
If you refuse a package or it returns to us unclaimed, we are not responsible for the time it spends travelling back through the postal service.
No refund of the purchase price, less shipping and handling, is issued until the package and every item in it arrive back at our US address in good condition and complete.
Unclaimed returned packages carry a 20% restocking fee, or a deduction of $24.95 for domestic and $59.95 for international shipments. There are no exceptions. This applies even where shipping was free to you, because the cost was still paid to send the order.
Who is responsible, and when
Before delivery, the seller is responsible for the shipment until it reaches your address. If a package is lost in transit, we resolve it with you by refund or replacement, and we file the claim with the carrier.
In transit, the carrier is responsible for safe and timely delivery, and is liable for loss caused by its own negligence — accidents, mishandling, or theft while in its possession.
After delivery, the package is yours. Theft of a package that was successfully delivered is not the seller's responsibility.
Customs, duties, and taxes
International orders, the EU included, may attract customs or import duties and taxes on arrival in the destination country. Our system calculates the VAT on the purchase; the import charges are separate.
Orders entering European countries are subject to customs and duty charges payable by the customer. These vary by country and we cannot advise on them — contact your local customs office before ordering.
Import duties and taxes are the responsibility of the buyer, consignee, or receiver in every country.
Orders we may need to query
THP, INC. reserves the right to refuse and cancel an order where the actual shipping charge exceeds what was paid, unless you are willing to pay the difference for your destination.
If a destination is too costly with the carriers available to us, we email the address on the order with the best options, or the choice to cancel.
International shipping rates have risen sharply and we hold our rates to most destinations as low as we can.
