Preparing straight hair.

Falls straight from root to tip, with little or no natural bend along the length.

Straight hair needs no straightening pass.

Wash the hair, so you begin on a clean length.

Dry the hair completely, right through to the ends.

Comb the hair until it is fully detangled, so no section snags on the way through.

Divide the hair into small, manageable sections.

Set the direction switch to match the way you are working.

Once it is prepared

Preparation is the same tool and the same pass on every texture. What changes between the models is power and trim configuration.
